Shipping and Returns
Furniture Delivery Charges:
Etrading1 delivers furniture free of cost to mainland UK. However, charges may apply to customers ordering from Scotland, Northern Ireland and other remote areas like Channel Island and others. The company will notify you about the application of any extra charges. For any queries regarding shipment or if you would like shipping quote please contact our Customer Service Department here before placing an order, the email should contain the following details:
· Item number.
· Item Name.
· Destination post-code.
In case of urgent delivery or delivery on any specific day charges may apply ranging between £15 to £25. Residents of Birmingham can also collect the product directly from our office. For any discount in the shipment fees please contact our customer service department along with the above mentioned details. We will do all in our hands to make it affordable for you.
Shipping & Handling Time:
Delivery time of each product might be different. If you want an urgent delivery or in a specific time frame let us know beforehand. As we mentioned it might cost some extra bucks. Send us the details of your desired product and the quantity you want. We will try our best to get it to you in the required time. Normally delivery takes 3 to 7 days. Although, out of stock items might take a little longer.
Deliverance Notice & Other Conditions:
For Pallet and freight deliveries, after shipping your order, customer will be communicated through telephone or Email. You will be contacted by Courier/hauler for delivering your order. You can select a day from Monday to Friday, timing will either morning or evening, in some unusual cases courier may not be able to tell you exact time of receiving your order. Small items which are not sent on pallet are not booked and they attempt to deliver couple of times.
Delivery of your furniture with be “curbside”, your presence is mandatory for acceptance of your order. The Pallet freight company is not liable to bring and unpack your goods in your house. A driver will be sent to your house with your package, he will unload your stock from truck with help of lift gate and will not be accountable for unpacking or bringing the pallet inside, it’s his choice if he helps you on request.
In case if you are not available at home then contact us beforehand so that we can give you details of shipper and correlate a suitable time to avoid chance of missing your package.
NOTE: Just in case if there is no one at home to receive the delivery then you will be charged minimum £35.00 per order for redelivery. To avoid this, ensure that you get in contact with shipper and arrange time so that at least one person is at home to receive the product.
If delivery boy is unable to locate your address then he will drop your product to nearby point, it will be then your responsibility to transport that product to your house. In some circumstances, charges may apply for remote delivery.
Furniture Product Reaches Your Home:
Product will be hashed out on wooden frame, approximate frame sizes: dining set: 48x85x58H, you are requested to check cartons to look for transit damage, in case driver leaves your place before your inspection, please note on proof of delivery: Driver is unable to wait for full inspection, no seen damage. It is advised to not sign the Proof of delivery note till you are sure that your product is in decent condition. In case, the delivered product has a damages and is acceptable or fixable to you then note it on Proof of delivery receipt and take the delivery but if it is not acceptable to you then refuse and directly inform us on email@example.com. You have to sign receipt citing the damage. We ensure that product is delivered best condition but damage can happen rarely. Product have insurance against freight damage but it has to be noted on the receipt too as if receipt with not damage issue written is received by the company then product delivered will be considered in perfect condition.
All major credit and debit cards are accepted to us. You can also pay by PayPal. If you want to pay via cheque or bank transfer then contact us for assistance.
Withdraw and Refund Policy:
In 24 hours after placing order, you can cancel it without bearing any penalties. If order is canceled after 24 hours then you have to suffer 10% cancellation/restocking fee from product price. If you refuse to take product at time of delivery then you will experience 10% cancellation fee and shipping charges from product price.
“Satisfaction Guarantee” is NOT advocated by us. If you want to give back your delivered item then contact us for further information. I case of return, you will have to repack the product with care, as return freight damage will be chargeable to you. You will bear 10% restocking fee as well as return shipping charges from product price.
You can contact us for returning product in seven (7) days from date of delivery. After passage of seventh (7th) day, you will not be acknowledged for return. The time we receive the item back, we will inspect it for any damage then payback your credit, note that payment will be returned to the original account number which was given in first place by you.
